The UVM libraries will be hosting two data related workshops this month. Join Maria Sckolnick, Statistical Design and Data Specialist for one or both sessions. These sessions are informal conversations about the posted topic. Anyone is welcome to attend.
April 13, 2023, 11am-12pm: Software for Statistical Analysis – Are you analyzing your data in Excel or Google Docs? Have you wondered how the use of statistical software can improve your workflow and reproducibility of results? In this workshop I will show you why statistical software is more appropriate for data analysis and how to get started with Graphpad, R, SAS, Stata or SPSS.
We will be meeting in the Dana Library classroom and talk about anything you want to ask.
April 18, 2023, 9am-10am: Data Visualization – Graphs and tables are important tools in data analysis and presentation. We will be looking at different types of graphs and tables and discuss how to use them well.
