Abstract:
The purpose of this thesis has been to allow readers an understanding of their own state of existing or, in other words, simply being. Human beings have a brief existence on Earth. To make the most of it, it is possible for one to construct one's self, to remake one's self, to shape one's own destiny, to write one's own life narrative. Readers have the opportunity to have a glimpse of the author's own personal experience in the transformation of creating herself. When the author realized she was very unhappy with herself and her life, she also realized that she had to leave behind the life she knew and start over from scratch. Due to dramatic coincidences and a life-changing event, she allowed herself to follow her instincts and ended up on a spiritual path back home. Reading self-help books, literature from her graduate courses, and making choices based on her intuition, she was able to pick up the pieces from the life she left behind. Along the way back home, she pieced them together on her own and with the help of life's coincidences to complete the puzzle, which now completes her.
