El joven compositor Eliseo Montalbán tiene un secreto tan grande como su talento: el trauma de haber presenciado en su infancia el asesinato de su hermana sobre las teclas de un piano. "Eliseo is an extraordinary but disturbed musician, traumatized by the tragic death of his younger sister. After completing a musical master piece he decides to hire a pianist to play the piece at the concert hall. For this, he finds Georgina, a young lady who plays music on the streets. Georgina finds the piece exquisite and they begin to prepare for the concert when she suddenly dies on the piano. Eliseo is devastated because he thinks his music is the cause of death and is taken to a psychiatric hospital, crazy thoughts begin to haunt and his own relief is composing musical melodies which he scribes on the hospital walls. He befriends another patient at the hospital and together they begin to plan their escape from the hospital and Eliseo's only salvation; music.
