Diary of a mad housewife

As the wife of upwardly-mobile New York lawyer Jonathan Balser, Tina is expected to fulfill his notion of the "perfect" hostess, gourmet cook, lover, and mother of their children. Jonathan is a man with an over-inflated view of himself, obsessed with his image and social status. His increasing demands upon Tina drive her to an affair with a young writer.
