Explorer craft, U.S.S. Palomino encounters a black hole with a ghost ship, the U.S.S. Cygnus, hovering near it. As the scientists take a closer look, their ship is damaged and they must land on the Cygnus for repairs. They encounter electronic robots and ultimately must pit themselves against these machines in order to escape.

Holocaust

Follows the tragedy and triumph of the Weiss family of Berlin and intertwines their fate as European Jews with the story of a German family, the Dorfs, whose members include a high-ranking Nazi officer. Kristallnacht, the "night of broken glass" occurs and the Weiss family suffer a series of unspeakable tragedies in the aftermath.
