UVM Libraries have migrated to a new (and improved!) library catalog and search system. While much of this change happened behind-the-scenes, finding resources should be easier and more efficient. What to expect >>
The UVM Libraries have a wide range of services, resources and spaces across our three locations that set students, faculty and staff up for success. Keep an eye out for the following at Howe, Silver, and Dana libraries. Your libraries are here to help!
We are proud in the UVM Libraries to be a part of the preservation of the legacy of retired Senator Patrick Leahy. Documentation of his 48-year career will be housed in Howe Library and eventually accessible for public study and research in the Silver Special Collections reading room. Read the complete announcement in UVM Today.
Get a head start on your statistics needs for the semester! UVM Libraries offer expert one-on-one help with data management, experimental and survey design, selecting methodology, and much more.
Our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the flooding across Vermont in recent weeks. In the library community, we are pulling together to support the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier that experienced extensive damage. Donate.
Dean Bryn Geffert's recent appearance on UVM's "Across the Fence" digs into the role of a modern academic library in supporting researchers and open research. Get a little insight into the UVM Libraries' latest work -- watch the interview.
The UVM Libraries has recently purchased the Wiley Digital Archives: Environmental Science and History database. This primary source archive contains a variety of materials such as documents, records, images, data sets, range and distribution maps, photographs, and slides (including insect, fungus, and botanical specimen slides) spanning from the 1790s-2000s. We are excited to bring this resource to UVM! Read more about this resource here.
April 17 – 21 is Research Week at UVM! UVM Libraries will have a table at the upcoming Research Resource Fair on April 18th, 1 – 5 pm, in the Davis Center Grand Maple Ballroom.
