The UVM Libraries welcomes you to join us for the upcoming panel “The Future of Open Access: How Will it Impact You?” This event will explore open access publishing and principles with UVM community members. Themes to be discussed include the cost of publishing, equity in publishing, the future of open access, and more. Following the panel discussion, the floor will be opened for questions and comments from the audience. The event will take place March 8th, 2023, from 12-1:30 in the Davis Auditorium* with a hybrid attendance option. Lunch will be provided to attendees. *Directions from UVM campus: The Davis Auditorium, not to be confused with the Davis Center, is located on the north side of Converse Hall on UVM’s Central Campus and sits between the UVM Medical Center and UVM’s Larner Learning Commons/ Dana Medical Library. Walking from the Harris Green, you will pass Howe Library and the Central Campus Residence Hall on your left and Rowell Hall on your right. You will circle Converse Hall to the far side. Attendees can access the auditorium by entering through the doors north of the Larner Learning Commons and Dana Medical Library.
