Hello,
I would like to comment that I would like to see the newspapers from Barre (Times Argus) and Northfield (Northfield News) selected to be scanned in Phase II. Vermont has a rich history with the quarries and stone cutting/memorials (Hope Cemetery etc…) and these newspapers cover many Vermonters who were involved in these industries. I hope you consider my request.
Thanks,
Tom
Hi Tom,
We are digitizing a few newspapers from that area, including a title in Italian called Cronaca Sovversiva. We’ll you up to date once they are up on Chronicling America’s website.
thanks,
