Join the Libraries on Friday, August 23, 2024 at 3 p.m. in the Howe Library Atrium (near the media desk and bridge to CCRH) for an author talk and book signing on I'm Able: A Woman's Advice for Disability Change Agents by UVM Lecturer Sefakor Komabu-Pomeyie. Light refreshments will be offered and the author will be available for a signing immediately following the event. Copies of the memoir will be available for purchase at the event.
Bryn Geffert, dean of libraries and chair of the Presidential Lecture Series steering committee, is happy to announce an official line-up of impressive speakers for the 2024-25 academic year.

Your libraries are doing some behind-the-scenes work June 26 through late July that will give you more choices in our offerings. In the meantime, you shouldn’t notice too many disturbances. Here are some things to remember.
Please note:
From April 29 to May 3, community puzzles will be left out in Howe for participation. Add one piece, five pieces, or do the whole puzzle, whatever you need.
On April 30 from 1:30 - 3 p.m., fuel up for your study sessions with free coffee and snacks.
The first Lisman Lecture in Early American Book Culture will be held on April 17, 2024. Scholars Desiree Henderson and Betsy Klima will speak about their work on author, actress and educator Susanna Rowson (1762-1824) and her importance to American book culture.
