If you are just starting your research, try searching:
- Academic Search Premier - This database offers access to a variety of articles, including articles from peer-reviewed and scholarly journals. Try our Finding Articles tutorial for more information on using this database to find scholarly/peer-reviewed articles.
- CATQuest - This discovery tool searches a variety of UVM resources, including books, databases and media. Try our Searching the Libraries' Collections with CATQuest tutorial for more information on using this tool.
While these are good places to start searching, there may be better places to search for discipline-specific information. In general, databases are a good place to look for peer-reviewed or scholarly articles. Check out our subject guides for subject-specific databases that have been recommended by a subject librarian.
