Directions to Parking - Bailey/Howe Library
Bailey/Howe Library is located in the center of the main campus, behind Royall Tyler Theatre and University Row.
Handicapped Parking-
- Take Carrigan Drive from East Avenue.
- Go straight past the lights and bear right, going between the Stafford Building and the new Health Sciences Research Facility.
- Continue around the corner to the left.
- This will bring you to the back or east side of the Bailey/Howe Library.
- Bear left at the DO NOT ENTER sign to get to the parking spaces along the south of the building, or bear right to get to the spaces along the north of the building.
Visitor Parking
- Main Campus near University Store:

- If coming from South Burlington or Interstate 89, take right from upper Main St. across from the Reservoir
- There are several metered spaces on the upper section of the parking lot to the right
- Additional metered spaces can be reached by going down the hill to the right into the Zone 1 Staff parking lot, then taking a left onto the exit road from this lot.
East Campus near the Water Tower-
- Take Carrigan Drive from East Avenue
- Go straight past the light and bear left
- Several metered spaces can be found in the parking lot on the left
College Street Across from Waterman Building-
- Several visitor spaces in an attended lot is on the upper end of College Street, just across from Waterman Building
