Bailey/Howe Library
- Handicapped Parking and Access:
There are 5 handicapped parking spaces in close proximity to the Bailey/Howe Library.
Directions

- Three spaces on the south side of the building
- One space on the north side of the building
- Two spaces just across the access road at the south end of the Cook Chemistry/Physics Building, just north of the Library.
- Access is through the main entrance at the southwest corner of the building.
Elevators:
-
- Western end of the building, just to the left of the main entrance
- Near the center of the northern wall, left of the Reference Services Desk, near a set of stairs.
- Near the center of the sourthern wall, on the right just past the Reference Services Desk
- Note: This elevator does not go to the ground floor without a key.
Handicapped Restrooms:
There are handicapped restrooms on each floor

- For those needing such assistance, a Hoyer lift is provided in one ground floor restroom, Room 026, which is very close to an elevator
- Ground Floor in the center of the building, in the hallway between Media Resources and Documents
- First Floor in the north-western area of the building, just to the right upon entering the Cyber Cafe
- Second and Third Floors in the western end of the building in the central core that houses the main elevator
TTY Telephones:
- A public TTY telephone is located along the northern wall in the west end of the building, just to the right upon entering the Cyber Cafe
- TTY equipment is also located in the Reference Office
- TTY Number at Bailey/Howe Library: 656-8283
Facilitated Study Room:
- The Facilitated Study Room is located on the main floor of the Bailey/Howe Library along the south wall, third door on the left, past the great stair and the Reference Service Desk.
Specialized Programs on Public Computers:

- Magnifier for Windows 2000
- Narrator for Windows 2000
- Note: While all of the computers come equiped with sound cards, there are no speakers attached. Please feel free to bring a set of headphones or borrow a pair from the Circulation Desk.
- On-Screen Keyboard for Windows 2000
