Library Catalog
Most of the printed material in Special Collections is accessible through the Library Catalog.
Call numbers are preceded by WILB (Wilbur Collection) and RARE (Rare Book Collection).
Finding Aids
This database contains detailed finding aids for manuscripts, photographs, maps, ephemera, and clippings held by Special Collections, the University Archives, and the St. Johnsbury Archives Collaborative. Finding aids provide detailed descriptions of the content of each collection as well as the context in which the collection was created.
Center for Digital Initiatives
The University Libraries’ Center for Digital Initiatives (CDI) makes unique digital collections available for researchers at UVM and beyond. The digital collections include photographs and other images, diaries, letters, documents, books and broadsides, and audio and video clips.
ArcCat
ArcCat is a cooperative catalog describing archival and manuscript collections held by various Vermont institutions,
including Special Collections manuscript collections that can also be found in the Special Collections Database above.
