Libraries Expand Essential Services, Access to Books and Equipment with Curbside Service (Updated 05/14)

Date:
Thursday, May 14, 2020

05/14/20 Update: Dana Medical Library books are now available through Howe Library's curbside service. Read details and instructions below.

Thanks to a new curbside pickup and drop-off service at Howe Library, UVM students, faculty, and staff now have expanded access to the university’s physical collection for academic purposes.

During scheduled days and hours, UVM affiliates working on academic and/or research projects may pick up Howe Library books, Dana Medical Library books, and media equipment by appointment, at a designated area adjacent to the Howe Library front entrance. Howe Library Circulation, Dana Medical Library Circulation, and Media Services staff will communicate with borrowers via email (or phone) to locate requested materials and coordinate pickup and drop-off times.

UVM affiliates interested in using the new curbside pickup and drop-off service for academic purposes may request Howe Library books, Dana Medical Library books, or media equipment using these instructions. (Login at library.uvm.edu with your UVM NetID and password.)
