My father, Allan Attwater, who would have been in the class of 1947, (though he left) won the Kake Walk with a partner, most likely in 1944. Yes, he was in blackface, and they won a large trophy, which I believe had a winged Victory (Nike) statue on the top. An article was run in Parade Magazine (?) and our family had a copy of the photo and the article until about 12 years ago. Is there a copy in the archives somewhere? I can't find it through your website. My dad, still living at age almost 86, is looking for it. Does anyone have this photo and/or article? Thanks!
