Physical Access and Parking at Dana Medical Library
The Charles A. Dana Medical Library is located east of Converse Hall on the concourse joining the Given Building with the University of Vermont Medical Center Ambulatory Care Center, on the main campus of the University of Vermont.
There are 10 handicapped parking spaces in close proximity to the Dana Medical Library.
Take Carrigan Drive up from East Avenue.
Go straight at the light at the top, and bear right into the lot just after the watertower.
Handicapped spaces are to the right at the Health Sciences Research Facility.
Entering the Building
Access is through the doors on the east side where the Given Building meets the Health Sciences Research Facility.
Take the elevator to the left of the entry and go down one level (Level R1 on the elevator button).
Continue straight out of the elevator, and proceed the length of the Given Building to where it joins the Medical Education Center.
Take the elevator at that lobby down to Library Level 1. Bear left on to the concourse; the library entry will be on your right.
For entry into the building after 7 pm, and on weekends and university holidays, please call the Circulation Desk at the Dana Library at 656-2200 for directions.
In the Library
There are accessible restrooms available in the library. Please ask for directions at the main desk.
TTY telephones are not available in the Dana Medical Library at this time.
