Document Delivery

• Articles requested from our library collection will be located and delivered to you by email, campus mail, fax, or you may ask to be notified to pick up copies in the library.
• All requests MUST meet copyright regulations and guidelines.
• Document Delivery is free to UVM health, biomedical and medical students and FAHC residents and Fellows for articles requested from our print and electronic collection.
• Document Delivery charges $5.00 per article requested from our print and electronic collection to all UVM faculty, staff and FAHC employees. This fee is waived for 5 requests per month. For requests of more than 5 articles per month, Dana will charge for ALL articles requested in that month.
• Other groups should contact us for information.
• Normal turnaround time is 24 hours. Large requests, inaccurate or incomplete citations may result in the request taking longer.
• Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Public Photocopiers and Scanner

• Located in the back of the library near the current journals.
• Black and white copies - $.10 per page/cash; $.05 per page/Cat$cratch or Guest Copy Card (card vending machine is adjacent to copiers)

Interlibrary Loan

Document Delivery / Interlibrary Loan Request Form

• ILL provides access to materials that are not available in the Dana Medical Library.
• ILL services are provided for faculty, staff and students of the University of Vermont and Fletcher Allen Health Care, and for Health Research Associates.
• Average turnaround time for journal requests is two business days. "Rush" service may be available with a shorter turnaround time. Contact ILL for assistance.
• Depending on your affiliation, the cost ranges from no cost to $25.00 for routine requests. Expedited services cost more. Specific questions about cost may be referred to the ILL office.
• We can send documents to you by email, through campus mail or U.S. Mail, or by fax. For items which need to be picked up, we can notify you by phone or email.
• Office hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
