Create Your Researcher Identifier

How can you as a researcher distinguish your work from other researchers with similar names? In this new climate of multidisciplinary research how can you attach your identity to all of  your research output? Try ORCID, a non-profit, community-based effort to create and maintain a registry of unique researcher identifiers: “ORCID provides a persistent digital identifier that distinguishes you from every other researcher and, through integration in key research workflows such as manuscript and grant submission, supports automated linkages between you and your professional activities ensuring that your work is recognized.” For more information, go to about.orcid.org.
