Summer Hours

Dana Medical Library Summer hours begin on Saturday, June 21, 2014. These hours are in effect through Sunday, August 17, 2014. Fall hours resume Monday, August 18th, 2014.

Monday-Thursday 8 am – 10 pm
Friday 8 am – 7 pm
Saturday 9 am – 7 pm
Sunday 9 am – 10pm

Exceptions:

Independence Day Holiday

July 4 – closed (UVM Holiday)
July 5 – 9 am to 5 pm
July 6 – 9 am to 5 pm

Regular hours will resume Monday August 18, 2014.

Winter holidays

Hours will be reduced between Friday December 13, 2013 and Wednesday January 1, 2014.

Welcome to the medical school class of 2017!

Everyone at Dana Library is here to help you be successful students, researchers, and clinicians.

You have a big job ahead of you, and we have a number of great resources to help you on your journey, all of which are available for you as members of the College of Medicine.

Dana Medical Library has 129,384 print volumes, 25,472 books, 5,151 journals and serials, and many media resources like videos, DVDs and CD’s available to students. You also have access to numerous online journals and over 5,000 electronic texts.

Services provided by the Library include Document Delivery & Interlibrary Loan, Reference help, and a variety of educational courses on topics such as EndNote, PubMed, Evidence-Based Practice, and Citation/E-journal Troubleshooting.

Memorial Day Weekend Hours

Dana Medical Library will have reduced hours over the Memorial Day weekend:

Saturday, May 25, 9 am-5 pm
Sunday, May 26, 9 am-5 pm
Monday, May 27, CLOSED (UVM Holiday).

Summer hours start June 15, 3013.

Our spring semester hours have resumed and are effective between Tuesday January 3, 2012 and Sunday July 1, 2012.

Mon-Thu – 7:30 am – 12 midnight

Fri – 7:30 am – 9 pm

Sat – 9 am – 9 pm

Sun – 9 am – 12 midnight

Bailey/Howe is now open for extended hours to accommodate student demand. Get those assignments done and study for those finals, until 2AM most nights.
