Summer Hours

From June 21 to August 10, the Dana Library will have the following summer hours: 8am - 10pm Monday - Thursday, 8am - 7pm Friday, 9am - 7pm Saturday, and 9am - 10pm Sunday. Regular hours will resume August 11.

Community Medical School: Hitting a Nerve: The Triggers of Sciatica

The largest nerve in the body, the sciatic nerve originates in the spine and then runs from the thigh to the sole of the foot. When compressed, the sciatic nerve can cause severe pain, weakness, numbness or tingling. Explore the anatomical location of the nerve, the conditions that can lead to sciatica and different treatment approaches. Presented by Bruce Tranmer, M.D., Professor of Surgery.
