When: Six consecutive Wednesdays from 12 noon-1 pm, repeated each Thursday at the same time.
A series of workshops designed for graduate students, junior faculty, fellows, and clinical researchers. Participants will learn about software, web sites, and databases that facilitate finding, managing, and publishing the results of scholarly research.
September 11 and 12: Getting Your Bearings
Start exploring the research process as well as various e-resources available from the library. Learn how to master practical skills such as accessing e-resources from off campus. Ideal for those new to UVM.

Discover expert search techniques to refine and focus your literature searches. Learn to set up auto-alerts, save searches, and create online bibliographies.

Maximize EndNote’s potential by using information management features such as groups, notes, and keyword fields. Learn how to create information-rich annotated bibliographies or cite sources within your paper with Cite While You Write.

Explore the best that databases like Web of Science, Google Scholar, and Ovid MEDLINE have to offer for your research.
