Managing Files on NetID (Zoo)

Your NetID (Zoo) account is a safe place to keep all of your computer files. It is easy to move or copy files to or from your zoo account from computers connected to the UVM network or the Internet.

Accessing NetID (Zoo) files at the library

When you are logged onto one of the library computers you automatically have access to your NetID files.

To access existing files on NetID (Zoo):

  • Locate the desktop icon to "map a drive to zoo".
  • Double click this icon and a box will come up asking you to "enter your username"
  • The next window will ask for your password. Click "submit"
  • A box will then open asking you to save your documents to G:. Click ok
  • You will see "username on zoofiles (G:)" as a choice when looking for a place to open from or save to.
