Managing Files on NetID (Zoo)Your NetID (Zoo) account is a safe place to keep all of your computer files. It is easy to move or copy files to or from your zoo account from computers connected to the UVM network or the Internet. Accessing NetID (Zoo) files from your computerOn CampusIf you live on campus and your computer is attached to the university network:
Off CampusTo access NetID (Zoo) files, from off campus, you will need a file transfer program. UVM recommends the use of Secure Shell for this purpose. To obtain a copy of Secure Shell for either the PC or Mac and to get instructions on installing the program go to:Download Secure Shell Secure Shell Installation Help Once Secure Shell is installed on your computer you will be able to access your Zoo files by doing the following:
