Directions and Entry to the Dana Library

To enter Dana, located in the Medical Education Center, after 7 pm and on weekends:

The door to enter Dana is to the east of Converse Hall. These vestibule doors are open until 9 pm nightly and on weekends. All other entrances to the Rowell, Given and Research buildings are locked at 7 pm nightly and on weekends.
NOTE: For people who have Cat Card access to Given: there are doors that will lock at 7 pm and on weekends at the south end of the corridor in front of the Library. If you visit the Library after 7 pm, you will need your Cat Card to reenter Given!

Directions to Dana:

From Off Campus:
Visitors to Dana can park in the University's Guest Parking area on the south end of the Given parking lot (blue on the UVM Parking and Transportation map), beyond the water tower. To get to Dana, walk toward Rowell Hall (see map) keeping the Health Science Research Facility (HSRF) building on your right. Walk around Rowell Hall, keeping Converse Hall on your left entering through the main entrance in the middle of the Concourse.
After 6 pm visitors may park for free at the Given (Water Tower) parking lot (green on the UVM Parking and Transportation map). From there you should walk around to the back of the Research building and then walk toward Rowell Hall (see map) keeping the Health Science Research Facility building on your right. Walk around Rowell Hall, keeping Converse Hall on your left, enter through the main entrance in the middle of the Concourse.

From UVM Campus: For patrons coming from Bailey/Howe: walk toward Rowell Hall (see map) keeping Rowell Hall on your right. Enter Dana from behind Converse Hall through the main entrance in the middle of the Concourse.

From FAHC Campus: From Second Floor West Pavillion, follow the signs to the Medical Education Center, Davis Auditorium, Dana Medical Library.
